This photo shooting was the attempting of my curios about shooting Water Drops

Turn out it was a not bad or good success : D

Too bad i forgotten to take a picture of the settings that i have set.

I was using 2 tripod, one Flash, a pair of wireless remote and went to my local book store to buy some colouring cards huge enough to block the background and fit into my lens.

Going to Daiso ( a Japanese local store that everything is just RM5.00) to buy 1 pair of big laundry clip.

And of course... a plastic bag!! from don't know where it from...

Anyway, It was not what i was expected but sadly i can't find my macro lens that makes me sweating like bathing and i kept on focusing when i adjusted the area or the way i shoot...

Still turn out is was a very nice shooting but not magnificent...

Still love it..!!

Hello Paris, I'm in darh house.

Everybody just so love Paris.

Is been a while i didn't update for this blog. since when? since the time after Enope Project.

I kind of miss the time were i have plenty of time to shooting around but regret that i spending most of my time, putting my ass down on a nice chair and doing nothing. That's summarize that i fucking wasting my time not to do more shooting.

Now, Due to start to work and i don't have much time for photo shooting. 

Since the day i started to work as a hotelier, i barely touch my camera and when i hold it back, it feels kind of awkward. But you know! Life keeps going and i am not gonna leave my interest, my only concentrated hobby in my life.  

Luckily there's a chance that i can go to Paris and back to Birmingham for some simple shoot. 

I'm happy and feel blessed because some of my colleagues praise that my work is wonderful and superb. Thanks for that and i appreciate what you guys have been kept telling me and some more invited me or i say hire me to become one of your wedding photographer. But i know where's my standard go so i was tried to offering why don't you guys let me free shooting and u get what i get and i get what i want? Is just a win win situation! short stories.

Most of the photo is inspire by what i search from the internet. It might be the photo that similar what u gave seen on the internet! What can i say? nowadays internet is powerful! Anyway, i love portrait more!! Haha.. Let's see some lamb shoot! Haha

This is currently the last shot i'm having in Birmingham. Hopefully there's some more when i back on September.

Back to the photo session, well well well...

Consider this is my first "man model" project. But basically is a month ago and i'm not really remember those details what i was doing that day.

But luckily i have bring my "assistant" Vyan Lee helping me to handling the flash and some equipment. So call "bodyguard" for Xhanye and mine equipment! HaHa!

This session is new to me and it really hit me really hard interm how to do the posting, the flash lighting and the wind speed is just too damn fast that hits the sun light running away from me.

Any this photo project is so special, Is actually to help Xhayne for the photo covering for his upcoming album that may release soon. But i call this as the Composing/ Composer, the music from the nature.

I was just shooting with my new baby Canon 24-105 L USM and a Canon 1000D, Went to Edgbaston Reservior. Nice weather, Not much people is around that moment.

Vyan Lee, One of the or the only sexy badass in my house. She's a very mind problem women.

Why?

Because she get emotional so much when she is too high or just suddenly went psycho!
But actually there is lots of fun with her.

You get crazy with her when u are staying with her. I consider myself crazy but added this little lady, Crazy is a serious method... People always said don't mess with a lady, i would say, "Don't mess with Vyan"!!
I do love her emotion, her mind set that is very open. But again, do not mess with her...

One of my and the only picture that I like the most. Is just so seducing.....

Anyway, it is a very successful shooting. We spending 5 hours of shooting that included make up by herself and some lunch time issue. Honestly this is my second shooting that i am satisfy although i don't really have strobist stuff.

The second picture i like the most.

What i have is just the model herself, 1 tripod mounted with YN-650 II Speedlite with a tiny softbox. Came up with a Canon 600D that borrow from Vyan due to i only have 1 battery and i don't want to change camera and lens wasting our time.

Camera is mounted with a YN-560 II Speedlite as well and a wireless trigger to control the flash from the tripod mounted. Lastly is by new added weapon, Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 L USM that bought last month. Yeah i know is not a epic lens or king of the lens. But a new lens surely will give some better performance. And i bought a backdrop as well.. Haha. Now i am panic how i gonna ship back to Malaysia. Headache...

Ok, let's talk about my concepts. We agreed that our topic of the shooting is sexy badass. Vyan is just the one who suitable with both. It come out with 4 type of wearing.

III. Like a boss
IV. Elegant.

If you are amateur photographer above, you might think that there's too much. But as a intermediate (me) i would just say that i still learning and improving my skill. I do hope there are some photographer can left me some comment tell me some secret to capture some nice studio/portrait. But so long no one left me any fucking comment since 2011 i guess. Perhaps the lack of marketing myself. haha..

9 Frame photo that everybody love to do it?

This album is basically a just for fun shot.
But i do happy when shooting this "Project"

Basically both of them like twins.
Funny, Energetic and lots of laugh u can hear outside the room when they laugh in the room..

Anyway, that time i was just help them to set up some flash and camera settings. Basically i didn't want to shoot it.
But turn out that i become the photographer again, shoot them and hang them on my webpage.. HAHA!

This shoot is taken by using simple gear. Canon 600D + 18-55mm Kit lens.
Basically this camera is not mine and i am regret when i having the shooting, i forgotten to change it to RAW format..

What you see those picture in the moment are non edited (just contrast and brightness is edited)
I was told by Vyan to set my Nissin Di622 flash for them and just let them bang them self and turn out i was shooting for them.

Kiti XiaoAi

Spending my Sunday this week for photo shooting. I'm so glad and appreciate as well thanks to my model for willing to let me having photographing. She's Kiti XiaoAi.

Kiti is a very funny girl. As i can say, a nice candidate for candid/ portrait shooting model. She's not those professional model. But what end out that we both have the same path for photo style, shooting and some idea that sharing to each others.

My idea is to photographing the cuteness and sweetness of her. Why? because she consists a very sweet face and kind of like attractive when i was trying to editing photo. Haha! the first idea i get is to shoot her when she wake up. Roughly idea of a wake up face. 

But then end out my flash problem. Who ask i was buying cheap stuff? What i can say i love photo shooting. But i still believe that images is made from my eye, not the camera. One of my friend were asking me before the shooting day. What lens would i bring? I just say a 18-55 kit lens and 50mm f/1.8. His expression told me that no, that's not the proper lenses for photo shooting! But my believe is that no matter what lens i using, if i have the eye of creation, i believe i can do it. Although people say that gear is important! But this topic would be never end if you trying to discuss is camera important? So let's jump to the next!

Picture above is Kiti's room. People always said that a ladies room is forever forbidden to guys. Perhaps because of the secret that the ladies trying to hide, or the room is the only place to review out the nature of her. But no matter how, My one is exception.. haha!

After that, she changed cloth and is time for outdoor shooting. We went to the canal near Mail Box, Birmingham. Is not a really sunny day but still. a good light source for shooting. Mostly outdoors shoot idea was by Kiti's. Why? Because my brain was frozen by the icy cold weather. I can't really think that time. but luckily my hand still working properly.

Picture below is the photo that almost satisfy my entire shooting time. the right time, the right place, the right light. I can't really say about it and talk about it. Picture is more then thousand words.

I am hungry when i shooting. Hand almost shaking like a old nanny. But at least someone is trying to stealing my food. And after the lunch, we headed back to hostel. and Kiti is changing her badass cloth and i was waiting at the laundry, seeking for heat.

But it come out that she was very badass when i shooting picture below.

After that, Is time to shooting with cigarette. I have this idea when one of my friend telling me shoot something about smoke. So was i was come out is having a cigarette. She's brave enough to try this shot and she really do inhaling the smoke inside (only mouth). But disclaimer: She's not a smoker. She's a 100% good girl! (although i find out she's getting crazy when you get to know her more). I truly salute to Kiti for sacrificing herself to art/photography.

 

At last.. I was exhausted, sleepy and camera almost out of battery. 400 photo, chosen 70 and final pick around 30. But the one that really i would chosen for my portfolio would be just 2 or 3. But again i am very appreciate Kiti's help. At least she let me know how my photographing skills go.
